Juventus target Matthijs De Ligt has arrived in Turin for medicals ahead of his £67.5 million move to join the Italian League champions this summer.
Information on the club’s official website says: “Matthijs De Ligt has arrived in Turin ahead of his €70m transfer to Juventus.”
“The 19-year-old centre-back touched down in Turin via private flight from Amsterdam just minutes ago and will head to the J-Hotel ahead of medical visits tomorrow morning.
“The official announcement is expected to come tomorrow with his presentation to the media possibly taking place on Thursday.

“De Ligt could meet up with his Juve teammates and begin training as early as tomorrow afternoon.”
The player, after arriving at the medical center posed for photos with some of the club supporters who awaited his arrival at the venue.
He was dressed in an all white shirt and a sky blue Denim jeans as he waved and thumbed up to the fans by the road side.
De Ligt was earlier this summer linked with a move to Barcelona, Manchester United and a few other top clubs.
However, the Dutchman defender was said to have made up his mind to represent the Old Lady from next campaign after coming across Cristiano Ronaldo in the UEFA Nations League final.
The five time Ballon d’Or winner according to reports urged the star to join Juve, after helping Ajax beat the Juven in one of the knockout stage matches.
