Naira Marley Finally Released on Bail


Nigerian hip-hop singer, Naira Marley has finally regained freedom from the custody of the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after spending some weeks in custody.

The music video of his controversial song, Am I A Yahoo Boy, recorded up to N3 million views on YouTube.

In a video that is making the rounds on social media, the singer who was released on bail, was seen in company of his mother and some other members of his crew.

Meanwhile, when it appeared that the singer was not going to regain his freedom soon, many began to hawk bits of gossip online that he couldn’t find anybody to remain in as surety to satisfy his safeguard conditions.

Marley’s management revealed via his social media page that contrary to what was being said, his two sureties had been given and the deferral was distinctly because of the confirmation procedure by the EFCC.

However, the news is still unclear because no pictures or videos have been shared on the singer’s official social media pages.
