The Abia state police command has cautioned the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) against any movement fit for truncating the harmony and wellbeing of the occupants. The official of police in the state, Ene Okon, gave the notice in a meeting on Channels Television.
He said that anybody or gathering of people related with IPOB will be named as a psychological militant and managed harshly. The official’s remark comes in response to the sit-at-home-request issued by the banished development, booked to become effective on Thursday, May 30.
He stated: “The Nigeria Police Force in Abia will treat any individual related with IPOB as a psychological militant and such an individual or gathering of people will be managed by the law.
“I am guaranteeing the great individuals of Abia to slight the illicit request and approach their ordinary organizations as there is each confirmation of insurance of their lives and properties.
“We have set up measures for smooth introduction of the official legislative leader of Abia state.
“He noticed that security staff have been placed in vital places over the state to hinder any infringe upon down of peace.
In the mean time, the Ethnic Nationalities Defense Organization (ENDO) has advised all minority ethnic nationalities in the nation to promptly set up self-preservation volunteer army to guard their properties and domains against Boko Haram psychological militants and executioner herders.
