INEC vows that Kogi, Bayelsa governorship race will currently hang on November 16.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared that the Bayelsa and Kogi state governorship decisions will presently hold November 16.
Authority reports that the commission had before planned the procedure for November 2.
Bayelsa Deputy senator, Rear Admiral Gboribiogha Jonah (rtd.) on Tuesday, May 14, encouraged the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to move the November 2 gubernatorial decision.
Jonah clarified that the race date is conflicting with state’s yearly thanksgiving, an occasion which, as per him, has a lawful support.
Reacting to the express government’s supplication, Professor Mahmood Yakubu, INEC’s national supervisor, said that the commission will consider on the solicitation.
