Police Rescue 2 Kidnap Victims, Arrest 3 Suspects

 

The Nigerian police on Sunday, May 12 said they had protected two hijacked people and captured three suspects regarding the wrongdoing. The suspects, power representative, Frank Mba, an agent chief of police, Mohammed Bello, otherwise known as “Dan Hajia”, 42; Suleiman Musa, otherwise known as “Dan Auta”, 38 and Abubakar Bello, otherwise known as “Abu Kango”, 28. Mba said in an announcement in Abuja that the exploited people were protected by agents joined to “Task Puff Adder”.

He said the people in question, Ali Sale, 34 and Bala Bawa, 37, were seized from their habitation at Maijaki town, close Lapai Local Government Area of Niger on May 1. He said Sale was safeguarded at Mai Lamba backwoods close Lapai, Niger, while Bawa was protected at Gada Biu on the edges of Abuja. Mba said that before the salvage task, the criminals were requesting N8 million for arrival of the two unfortunate casualties. He said two Ak47 rifles and 258 rounds of live ammo of 7.62mm gauge were recouped from the suspects.
